Roll Up Your Sleeves For The Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience

Don an apron and learn techniques and tips from inside the Glovers Alley kitchen

Andy McFadden is opening up his restaurant kitchen at Glovers Alley, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin, Ireland to food enthusiasts from Friday the 6th of July when his new interactive Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience will kick off.

Running on the first Friday of each month and starting at 9am, Andy will host a three-hour Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience for up to four people in the restaurant kitchen.

Andy said, “Whether you consider yourself a seasoned cook or a culinary beginner, this is an amazing opportunity to experience the excitement and heat of the kitchen first hand. The Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience is a real interactive experience teaching you a few new tricks, showing you behind the scenes and gives you a real insight into the creativity in the kitchen.”

The Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience will begin with a talk by Andy. He will then bring the participants into the kitchen where they will make a batch of signature Glovers Alley bread to take home. Next, they will get to watch Andy and his team of chefs in action as they demonstrate the intricate skills and techniques they apply to butchering meat, preparing fish and creating refined desserts. The participants will also get to interact with and assist the professional kitchen team as they prepare for that day’s lunch and dinner service. Throughout the morning Andy and the team will prepare various dishes for participants to taste.

At 12 noon, participants will swap the kitchen for the chic and sumptuous dining room in Glovers Alley, where they will sip a glass of Champagne before enjoying a specially created four-course lunch menu with paired wines prepared by Andy and his team.

To finish, participants will receive an Andy McFadden at Glovers Alley goodie bag to take home.

The three-hour Glovers Alley Kitchen Experience and four-course lunch with paired wines is priced at €145 per person.

If you’d like to bring a guest along for lunch, a dining-only option is available for an additional €95 per person.
