Aniar Restaurant brings a taste of the West to the Taste of Dublin Festival

Aniar Restaurant will bring a flavour of Galway to the prestigious Taste of Dublin Festival tomorrow as it dishes up a series of special dishes for the event

Now in its eighth year, the four day Taste of Dublin Festival is taking place this weekend, June 13-16th,  in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens, showcasing top chefs, wine experts and leading Irish restaurants.

Visitors can look forward to a feast for the senses with delectable food, top chefs, interactive masterclasses and theatres, live entertainment and over 120 artisan producers.

As an official ‘visiting restaurant’ Aniar will feature a host of mouthwatering dishes for food lovers. The creations will be served in the restaurant stand over two sessions, the first taking place between noon and 4pm and the second service between 5.30pm to 9.30pm.

Aniar will fashion special menus of starter sized dishes for the occasion, including signature dishes created to specially reflect its philosophy and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients.

Diners can look forward to three dishes:  brown crab & carrageen pannacotta, radish and sorrel;  a dish of beetroot and cherry blossom parfait, hazelnut praline, parsley; and also a dish of Scallops, black pudding, pork belly and cauliflower.

Owned and operated by Jp McMahon and Drigín Gaffey who brought us Cava Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar and EAT Gastro pub, Aniar is a terroir based restaurant, Aniar’s uses local produce that reflects the rugged landscape of the West of Ireland. It lets the natural course of the seasons will dictate our ever-changing and evolving menu.
