Esquires Coffee – What You Need To Know

Esquires Coffee franchise in Ireland is expanding with 3 new stores to open before Christmas.  Ireland is the most successful home worldwide of Esquires Coffee which originated in Canada. Tony McVerry is the MD of Esquires Coffee in Ireland and with it’s café in Mullingar recently becoming a finalist in the REI Awards Esquires Coffee is certainly one to watch. Here will tell you a little more about the brand:

Esquires Coffee was set up by two friends in Vancouver in 1993, Doug Williamson and Gary Buckland. Aspiring business owners and avid coffee drinkers, they wanted to offer customers a memorable coffee house experience. Curious to know where their entrepreneurial spirit and love of coffee would lead them, it didn’t take long for the duo to open more stores and establish a presence in the Greater Vancouver area. They quickly established principles of having a defined brand focus on fairness, integrity, passion, excellence, innovation, community and sustainability which remain at the core of Esquires philosophy today.

The culture has been the backbone of the company as it has undertaken a global expansion into numerous countries to date including cafes in the Middle East, Asia, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. With trusted locations all around the world, Esquires provide a place for people to meet, socialise and unwind with great service, great coffee and great food. Today, Esquires is owned by Cooks Global Foods, a publicly listed company on the New Zealand Stock exchange.

Esquires is currently enjoying rapid growth in many countries and is actively looking for partners for single, multi store franchise both locally and globally. Esquires vision is to become the world’s largest Organic and Fairtrade Coffee retailer operating with at least 800 Esquires stores globally by 2020. The global café industry is being driven through growth in both emerging markets and in the traditional developed markets and Esquires is sharing in that growth. Further, the Organic & Fair Trade, ethical and sustainability principles that are at the heart of the Esquires brand are increasingly being sought out by discerning coffee consumers and are at the foundation of the company’s growth.

Esquires Coffee locations currently in Ireland include: Airside, Swords, Carrick-on-Shannon, Clonmel, Drogheda, Galway, Longford, Mullingar and Navan
