Celebrate World Tapas Day with a feast of global-inspired delights at Urban Brewing in the Dublin Docklands on the 20th of June. World Tapas Day, run by Spain’s tourism agency Turespaña, is a worldwide day of celebration for the famous Spanish delicacy, which takes place annually on the third Thursday of June.
Throughout the day, Urban Brewing are offering diners a special deal of Charred Irish Beef Rump Steak with Pepper, Tarragon Butter, Ciabatta; a Trio of Beetroot with Greek Yoghurt, Toasted Seeds; and a portion of Urban Brewing’s signature Beeramisu for €24.
The traditional tapas style of dining embraces the concept of sharing and socialising, chiming perfectly with Urban Brewing’s ethos – laid-back, lively and contemporary. From friends having a quick ‘Tap + Tapa’ combo at the bar, to a family indulging in an elaborate spread of dishes, Urban Brewing’s tapas offering has something for everyone.
Head chef Dan Keane said, “We use the freshest Irish ingredients where possible to create tapas dishes, inspired by our travels around the world, which are modern, enticing and full of flavour. What brings the tapas experience at Urban Brewing to another level is the careful attention we give to creating exciting drink pairings for each tapa – including wine, spirits, and of course beer. And with our ever-changing selection of Urban Brews made in-house, there are exciting new pairing options each time you come in.”
Urban Brewing was established in 2017 by O’Hara’s Brewery, one of the pioneers of Irish craft brewing and now one of the largest craft breweries in Ireland, and encompasses a fully-functional microbrewery, two bars and Stack A Restaurant which is located within the building’s underground vaults.
World Tapas Day takes place on June 20th, and on that day diners can enjoy Charred Irish Beef Rump Steak with Pepper, Tarragon Butter, Ciabatta; a Trio of Beetroot with Greek Yoghurt, Toasted Seeds; and a portion of Urban Brewing’s signature Beeramisu at a special price of €24.
Tapas is available Monday to Friday from 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 4:30pm.
