Indoor Dining Now Open at Overends Kitchen,  Airfield Estate, Dundrum

Guests will enjoy an à la carte table service with a menu featuring wholesome, seasonal dishes cooked from scratch by the inhouse team of chefs using seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs grown on Airfield Estate’s 38-acre farm, along with artisan produce from local suppliers.


While dishes change in line with what’s in season, current sample dishes include Violet artichokes, black olive & Aioli featuring grilled Barigoule artichokes, black olive caramel and herb fines garlic mayo (€6.50); Late spring risotto with spinach puree, peas, broad beans, young garlic, vetch, red vein sorrel, flowers and pea shoot salad garnish (€13.00); and warm salad of lamb breast, wild garlic, ricotta & artichoke made with caramelised rolled breast 


of lamb, kale salad, molasses dressing, wild garlic Salsa Verde, whipped ricotta and artichoke (€14.50). For sides think braised new season broad beans (€5) or Jersey milk mash (€4.50) while sample desserts include Craquelin choux bun with chocolate pastry, cream and poached cherries (€8) or baked Jersey milk custard with shortbread and elder macerated strawberries (€7.50). Alternatively choose A Taste of Airfield small plates menu (€25/€30) for a selection of delectable dishes, complete with dessert. 


Food is complemented by an extensive drinks menu which includes soft drinks, aperitifs and spirits, as well as craft beers from Wicklow Wolf, stout from Boundary Brewing and cider from The Cider Mill in Meath, and biodynamic wines and bubbles.

Overends Kitchen is open for indoor bookings from Wednesday-Sunday, 12pm – 3.00pm. Alternatively, those who prefer to dine alfresco can choose to book a table at Overends Deck, the restaurant’s newly furbished outdoor terrace.
