Special Beer and Food Matching Experience with and Irish Twist this St Patrick’s Day at Urban Brewing

Stack A Restaurant at Urban Brewing in the heart of the Dublin Docklands is celebrating St Patrick’s Day this year with a special St Patrick’s Day Food and Beer Pairing Tasting Menu with an Irish twist available on 14th, 16th and 17th March.

Head chef Dan Keane has created a menu which celebrates fantastic seasonal Irish ingredients, and each course has been carefully paired with an exclusive beer which has been brewed in-house and perfectly enhances the flavour of the dish as well as highlighting the special characteristics of each beer.

The four course tasting menu will begin with O’Hara’s Stout and Irish Beef Consumé with Homemade Brown Bread and Smoked Bone Marrow Butter which is paired with Urban Brewing Pale Ale. This is followed by Confit Cod with a Aerated Saffron Potato, Fermented Red Cabbage and Cured Egg Yolk paired with Urban Brewing Yarrow Gruit, and then a Glazed Breast of Thornhill Duck with Poached Blood Orange, Fennel, Three Pepper Crust and Clove Jus which is paired with Urban Brewing Bragg IPA. The meal will end with an indulgent Caramelised Whilte Chocolate Delice with Irish Milk Sorbet which is paired with Urban Brewing Szechuan Stout. (Beers are subject to availability).

The cost of the four course St Patrick’s Day Tasting Menu is €50 per person, with an additional cost of €15 for beer pairings.  It is available in Stack A Restaurant at Urban Brewing from 5:00pm on Saturday 14th March, Monday 16th March and St. Patricks Day,  17th of March.

Bookings can be made via email to [email protected] or phone 01 568 5989.
