Zambrero, the Mexican-inspired, fresh food restaurant brand, is due to hit a massive global milestone this weekend of 90 million meals donated. Since 2005, for every meal purchased in a Zambrero across the globe, another is donated to those in need through its Plate4Plate programme and charity partner, Rise Against Hunger. The donated meals are tracked through a counter on display in each Zambrero store, which reflects a live count of each meal sold worldwide in a one-for-one donation.
Zambrero’s international distribution partner, Rise Against Hunger, plays a vital role in directing Zambrero’s Plate4Plate meals to communities in dire need worldwide, particularly in regions where access to adequate nutrition is scarce, primarily through school feeding programs.
Zambrero is celebrating the 90 million meals milestone by offering €9 classic burritos and bowls for three days, from Monday, March 31st, to Wednesday, April 2nd. Simply place your order through your preferred and participating delivery app for takeaway or through the Zambrero app for collection, and a €9 burrito or burrito bowl is yours!
